The full-time course “Bachelor of Arts in Primary Level” course at the University of Teacher Education in Zug has a length of six semesters. The program qualifies students for teachers from first to sixth grade. The curriculum includes the subjects: movement and sport, Artistic creation, German, English or French, mathematics, music, Nature, people, society and Technical and textile design. Students develop pedagogical and didactic skills necessary for a successful and professional teaching career. In addition, students learn to introduce children to all areas of social, personal, motor, and cognitive development to encourage them in their learning and life journey. Admission requirements for direct entry are a high-school diploma, among other things.
