The University of Television and Film Munich, founded in 1966, is a film school seated in Munich, Bavaria. It accomodates some 350 students. Prospective students are offered the following five degree programs: “Feature Film and Television Feature“, “Film and Television Documentary“, “Production and Media Business“, as well as “Screenplay“ and “Cinematography“. Specializations are possible within the disciplines Television Journalism, Advertising, Creative Writing, Serial Storytelling, Image, Light, Space, Film Editing, and VFX. All programs lead to a University Diploma. Graduates of the University of Television and Film Munich are also provided with the opportunity of applying to taking part in the extension course “Theater, Film and Television Criticism“, which is offered in partnership with the August Everding Bavarian Theater Academy.
