The Hochschule für Finanzwirtschaft & Management (University of the Savings Finance Group), founded in 2003, is a state-recognized private higher education institution seated in Bonn, North Rhine-Westphalia. It is funded by the Deutsche Sparkassen- und Giroverband e.V. According to the University’s finance-related orientation, prospective students are offered Bachelor and Master degree programs focused on financial services. The programs are carried out on the basis of both correspondence and attendance periods. The range of Bachelor studies includes the training-accompanying and extra-occupational study courses “Finance“ (B.Sc.), “Business Informatics for Financial Service Providers“ (B.Sc.), “Banking & Sales“ (B.A.), as well as the practice-integrated study course “Banking“ (B.Sc.). At Master’s level, the University provides the extra-occupational degree course “Management of Financial Institutions“ (MBA) both on an extra-occupational basis and in partnership with the Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. In addition to Bachelor and Master programs, there is also the opportunity to participate in a continuing education certificate course in the fields of Corporate Finance, Bank Management, Monetary and Securities Markets, Sales Planning and Sales Control, Multi-Channel Management, and Real Estate Finance. The Hochschule für Finanzwirtschaft & Management accomodates more than 900 students.
