The University of Zurich, founded in 1833, is a public university seated in Zurich. With a total of more than 26,000 students, it is the largest university in Switzerland. The University is comprised of seven faculties: the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Arts and Social Science, the Faculty of Law, the Faculty of Theology, the Vetsuisse Faculty, as well as the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics.
