Description
The four-semester program ”Master of Arts in European Cultural Heritage” at European University Viadrina is taught in German and offers internships. The course provides students with knowledge and skills on how to preserve cultural monuments necessary for the conservation and management of the cultural property. The curriculum includes Museology, Urban development, Restoration Science, Monument law and other studies. Students acquire knowledge about the meaning and content of European cultural heritage and have a practical insight into the different fields of activity in heritage conservation and cultural management, such as monument conservation, museum work, municipal cultural work, building administrations, restorers and landscape associations. Additional fees are required for admission, and it is possible to attend as a visiting freelance student. Guest students are not allowed to take exams but only receive certificates for participation in the courses.
