Description

The four-semester program ”Master of Arts in Language – Media – Society” at European University Viadrina is in German, English, and French. The program focuses on the use and mediality of different languages and language varieties in Europe. The curriculum consists of three elective modules from which the student can choose: “Multilingualism and Interaction”, “Multimodality, Discourse and Media” and “Language and Media in Transformation”. The program teaches students how to deal with different communication contexts and communication and aesthetic practices, forms of discourse and social structures. To apply, students have to know two European languages and a university entrance qualification.
