The “Law” program at European University Viadrina has a duration of ten semesters, including all the courses, an internship and the final examination. The program is taught in German. The course curriculum contains law, Civil procedural law, Exercise in civil law, Basic course IV Criminal law, Exercise in criminal law, Criminal procedural law, Police law, Commercial law, Corporate law, Exercise in public law and other subjects. Graduates could occupy professions such as judge, public prosecutor, lawyer and notary, lawyer in banks, insurance companies, legal or human resources departments of commercial enterprises or even become a fully qualified lawyer. To apply, students should at least have a High-school diploma.
