The “Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies” degree program at Webster University Geneva intends to meet the demands of the global market through the exploration of digitalization and various media outlets. Through 39-44 credit hours, students explore the design, delivery and effects of media messages in a range of communication fields and across multiple communication platforms. Introduction to Media Production, Communication for Media Professionals, Media Writing, Media Literacy, Social Media Strategies & Tactics, Digital Media & Culture, Media Law, Ethics & Policy and other subjects are part of the course curriculum. In the Capstone Courses students must earn a grade of no less than B. The degree allows graduates to pursue careers in communication, branding, social media management, brand management, product development and more.
