The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Nursing extra-occupational” offered by Wilhelm Löhe University Applied Sciences is a part-time course of studies with a duration of seven- semesters, divided in two phases. The program’s objective is to convey students in- depth knowledge of nursing tasks’ s nature as well as analytical skills in order to apply them in practice and in their vocations. Some of the subjects covered in this course include Nursing Theories, Innovation in Care, Scientific work and others. Having gained competence in that field, participants are prepared for job opportunities in the clinical sector. Admissions are restricted and participants are required to present a technical or general college entrance qualification and a completed vocational training in a nursing or a relevant health profession.
