Wismar – University of Applied Sciences, Technology, Business and Design, founded in 1908 as “Ingenieur-Akademie Wismar“, is a public university seated in Wismar, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is split into three faculties: the Faculty of Engineering, the Wismar Business School, and the Faculty of Architecture and Design. More than 8,500 students are enrolled at the Hochschule Wismar, which provides dual, international, and postgraduate study programs. The scope of dual studies includes the Bachelor study courses “Civil Engineering“, “Information Technology and Electrical Engineering“, “Mechanical Engineering“, “Mechatronics“, “Marine Engineering“, as well as “Business Informatics“. The international programs offered by the Wismar University are the German-Indonesian study course “Marine Engineering“, and the German-Polish study course “Business Informatics“ (Bachelor, Master).
