The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science“ offered by University of Applied Sciences Worms is an amalgamation of the two precursor programs “Computer Science“ and “Communication Technology“. Depending on the respective study variant, the standard period of study is six or seven semesters, respectively. The decision as to the selection of the variant takes place after the fourth semester. The seven-semester variant includes a practice semester in the sixth semester. The focus of the seventh semester is put on writing a Bachelor’s thesis. Studying a semester abroad is possible as well. The course of studies qualifies students for taking up the consecutive Master program “Mobile Computing, M.Sc.“.
