Brig-Glis is well-connected to other cities in southern Switzerland via road and railway. From here cities like Sion, Thun and Bern can be reached by train within less than hour and a half. STUDYING IN BRIG

The Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS) was established in 1998 as a nationally recognized higher learning institute. Today the university has four locations, namely in Zurich, Basel, Bern and Brig, and a total of about 2,300 students. One can choose from a wide range of degree courses at both Bachelor’s and Master’s level, with a focus on the fields of Economy, Law, Health, Computer Science, Engineering and Psychology. Although providing a distance learning study model, one of the key priorities of the university is to offer innovative course that combines e-learning with traditional education methods while giving its students as much freedom as possible .
