In the southwestern state of Rhineland-Palatinate lies the city of Mayen with a population of a bit over 19,000 people. STUDYING IN MAYEN

Mayen is home to the University of Public Administration in Rhineland-Palatinate (HöV), established in 1981. The University offers two degree courses in Administration and Administration Management, each with different fields of specialization. As suggested by the name, the University aims to prepare its students to become civil servants for the administration in the Rhineland-Palatinate state only. In order to be fully prepared for their professional activities in the future, students who choose HöV for their higher education will not only receive theoretical knowledge but also practical training. In addition, students are also allowed to choose not only their degree course but also their main subjects. Finding accommodation in Mayen should not pose significant challenges for newcomers. Although the University does not manage a student residence hall, there are plenty of housing opportunities on the private market of the city. The Secretariat on campus helps new students from the very beginning of their arrival and assists with the apartment search. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES IN MAYEN
