The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Directing” at Academy of Performing Arts Baden-Wuerttemberg is with a duration of eight semester and provides practice-oriented training that will enable prospective students to develop their own artistic personalities. Aside from the theoretical knowledge in directing, the program also explores other aspects such as stagecraft, dramatic and post-dramatic literature, aesthetics, and others. What is more, by actively participating in their practical exercises, students will develop director-specific, communication and leadership skills that will enable them to manage actors on set, work with the script, organise artistic and technical processes, and more.
