Description
The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Art/ Education/Therapy” offered by Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences is suitable for those who want to study fine arts and desire to work in art therapy or art education. The course of study is distinguished by extensive art-related practical experience. Students also conduct internships in schools and art therapy facilities while learning the fundamentals of art education, art therapy, and art science. Participants who complete the program are thus eligible for admission to Master`s programs in art instruction for secondary and general schools, art therapy, etc. The curriculum is divided into two main parts – core subjects that are completed during the first two semesters, and free project work throughout the third to sixth semester. The core subjects encompass drawing, sculpture, new media, etc. The basic knowledge students gain assist them in choosing the right specialisation field from the third semester.
