The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education” offered by Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences concentrates on the theory and practice of elementary and early childhood education. The course of study prepares students for pedagogical professions working with children up to the age of ten, both with and without specific learning requirements. The program can be completed either as a full-time or as a part-time course of study. The curriculum is compound of five study fields- Fundamentals of Science, Profile Development, Selected fields of education, etc. Upon successful completion of the program graduates are qualified to work in the areas of early childhood education and care, in child and youth welfare services, positions in counselling centres, etc.
