The part-time study program “Master of Arts/Master of Education in Education/ Educational Research” offered by Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences located concentrates on studying fundamental scientific methodologies as well as the conception and implementation of research projects in a step-by-step manner. Students will acquire knowledge in the foundation of educational science, history of pedagogy, pedagogical casuistry, etc. Furthermore, participants will learn how to plan, implement, and present an educational research project. They will also be taught philosophy, art and cultural history, ethics, and other relevant disciplines. Moreover, students have the opportunity to choose a specialisation subject depending on their vocational field and career objectives – either Educational Research in the Context of Childhood and Society or Educational Research in the Context of School and Society. Upon completion of the program, graduates receive a general Master`s degree in Education or Educational Research. Graduates are active in the educational administration, consultancy, assessment, quality management, etc.
