Description
The study program “Master of Arts/Master of Education in Eurythmy Therapy” offered by Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences prepares students to apply eurythmy therapeutic abilities to a wide range of age groups, clinical scenarios, and areas of practice. They learn the medical fundamentals needed to tailor eurythmy treatment to the specific patient at hand. Furthermore, students learn the foundations of scientific methodology in order to increase their capacity to reflect and convey the procedures used in eurythmy treatment to patients. Working with groups teacher students how to use eurythmy treatment in a health-promoting manner, while internships help them establish a therapeutic attitude. Students have three opportunities for their studies - one-year full-time Master of Arts Eurythmy with a focus Eurythmy Therapy, two-years part-time Master of Arts Eurythmy with a concentration on Eurythmy Therapy or three-year part-time Master of Education in Educational Research - Focus Eurythmy Therapy. The curriculum is compound of nine modules- Fundamentals of Eurythmy Therapy, Medicine, Communication and Identity, etc. One of the modules is practical work, during which students complete internships in various areas of eurythmy therapy.
