The “Bachelor of Arts in performART” program at Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences combines the performing and visual arts and thus does justice to current art developments in a special way. Over the course of 6 full-time semesters, students are introduced to basic manual skills and creative possibilities: sculpture, painting, digital media, performance and music, and sound installation, and are consistently trained in body work and movement, in voice and speech training as well as in co-creative work. If candidates are not able to provide a general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) or subject-specific university entrance qualification, admission to the course is possible if the aptitude test demonstrates outstanding artistic talent, or if applicants have completed vocational training with at least three years of professional experience.
