Description
The study program “Master of Arts in Waldorf Education” is offered at Institute for Waldorf Education, Inclusion and Intercultural Studies in Mannheim. Students have the opportunity to select between two specialisations - inclusion and class teacher with specialty. Students who complete the program are prepared to teach in Waldorf schools, from first to eighth grade. The course of study focuses on helping students acquire scientific, didactic-methodological, and teaching skills, as well as creative, social, and self-reflective capacities. In the classes for teacher with specialty, in addition to the main topics, one of the following obligatory classes must be chosen- English, music, horticulture, handicrafts, sports, or manual work. Participants who have chosen inclusive education gain knowledge and skills via curative and inclusion education courses as well as a range of methodological approaches.
