The Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the Master’s degree “Master of Arts in Biographical and Creative Writing”. The main purpose of this course is to give the students the ability to promote writing in the fields of Social work, Preventive and follow-up health work, Professional coaching, Supervision, Cultural work, Adult education, Psychotherapy. Thus, it provides learning of a wide variety of writing pedagogical and creative methods, explaining their purpose in a targeted manner, and how important biography and personal writing styles are. The students will receive qualifications for pedagogical and didactic skills for individual supervision, as well as for writing in groups. At the end of the course, there is a master’s thesis from the field of biographical and creative writing in a research-based or scientifically sound manner.
