The Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the seven-semester Bachelor course of “Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy”. This course is presented in two different types of study. The first one is Primary qualification or professional qualification form of study (PQS) and integrates state recognition as a physiotherapist or occupational therapist, and it ends with the academic title of Bachelor of Science. It is also prior or accompanying technical college training and it is not necessary for this type of study to end with a state examination as part of the university course. The second type of study form is the Additive interdisciplinary (AddIS). This form is aimed at building state-recognized training in the field of physiotherapy or occupational therapy. The two forms include summer and winter semester of education.
