Description


The Catholic University of Applied Sciences Berlin offers the five-semester part-time Master program “Master of Social Work in Social Work as a Human Rights Profession”. This course gives the students the opportunity to qualify for the professional implementation of human rights issues in practice, teaching and research in social work. Thus, it helps them to gain knowledge within the interdisciplinary research and application-related training, in order to face the increasing transnationalization of social problems in a professional manner. After a successful completion of the Master’s degree in Social Work, they will have a further scientific education that qualifies them for implementation of practical projects, complex practical research with the possibility of a doctorate, as well as for taking on managerial tasks in the higher service. It will also prepare them to work within management and leadership functions in social / socio-economic companies and organizations involved in human rights work with independent or public bodies.
