Allensbach University of Applied Sciences offers the degree course “Master of Arts in Business Education”, which is the only distance-learning of the kind in Germany. The degree course stems from the business teacher training programs, and from the idea of offering practicing professionals a compatible with work and family, accessible at all times, and adaptable to their own pace, content delivery mode. There are no attendance modules in this degree program. The entry requirements are 180 ECTS in the first degree, a B2 level of English, one year of work experience, and, for those without economic academic background, there is an eight-month certificate course in Economic Basics. The degree is four semesters long, and there are several specializations to choose from, among which HR, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, Business Psychology, Integration and Diversity Management. Lateral entry into teaching for vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg is also given access to through the preparatory service program.
