As part of the Bachelor’s degree course in Business Administration at Allensbach University, but with the possibility to be taken with a separate university certificate worth 6 credit points, there is a “Business English” course. It is scheduled within four months and the mode of study is completely online. The program of the course is primarily directed at the advanced speaking and writing skills, necessary for everyday business communication in the corporate correspondence and meetings, in the increasingly international environment today’s businesses operate within. The enrollment in the degree supposes a high level of English to be acquired already, so the studies will target the specific business contexts and their linguistic conventions. The lessons are organized in interactive exercises, videos, educational games and dialogues, an online dictionary, and authentic scenes, plus four synchronous lectures online.
