Allensbach University of Applied Sciences provides the certificate course “Certified Asset Manager”, in cooperation with the Finanz Colloquium Heidelberg. The course is particularly targeted at family-owned businesses. A qualified family officer or a carer for private clients is what the program has in mind to produce in a period of nine months, through a compatible distance learning mode, which requires no attendance events. The curriculum evolves though five modules altogether, Business Models and Core Services of Family Office Management, Legal and Tax Issues of Family Office Management, Family Governance, Trusted Advisor and Life Consultant, Portfolio Management, Corporate Governance and Compliance. These can be credited to an MA Finance master’s program. The completion of the course is tied to five submissions as proof of achievement.
