When designing the “Master of Business Administration in General Management” course, Allensbach University of Applied Sciences has had in mind the large specter of professionals running business of their own, aspiring to start one, or seeking after a management position in a company. These were especially the natural scientists, lawyers, doctors, specialists in humanities. The HR, financial, and organizational know-how provided through the flexible non-attendance schedule of the degree course, will give students the perfect chance to build on their already existing knowledge and acquire new competences, for thriving in the corporate career ladder. There are three study variants: for graduates with 240 ECTS the duration is two semesters, and there is no specialization. For those with 210 credits, no specialization and a three-semester long MBA program. And, finally, students who have completed 180 academic credits in their previous degree are entitled to a complete four-semester long course, and a field of interest to specialize in among nine altogether: Finance, Marketing, Digital business, HR, Engineering, Corporate Health, Transformation and Turnaround Management and Economics. The degree could also be naturally taken up to a tertiary higher stage of education.
