The “Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in SME and Craft Management” at Allensbach University of Applied Sciences is particularly targeted at those small and medium enterprises, many created by craftsmen, and looking for successors, or the ones that are about to emerge, and form part of their most numerous shares of German economy. Managing a crafts company, or a business enterprise requires, like any other, solid knowledge of the administration processes. These are supplied through a comprehensive, six-semester long program. It starts with the economics and management fundamental disciplines like accounting, mathematics, statistics, marketing, tax, investment, financing, HR, Corporate Law, process and project management. In the last semesters, this training is linked to knowledge of the specific characteristics of life-cycle related SME and craft management, case studies, and project work. The specialization course content is also compatible with the master craftsman’s examination.
