Description
Landscape Development programs’ main goal is to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to plan, design and build landscapes such as roads and pathways, public or private gardens, golf courses, industrial landscapes and urban sites. Students are trained practically with modern materials and equipment, and provided with the latest know-how and techniques. Conducting research is also an important part of Landscape Development programs. Some of the subjects studied include Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, History of Landscape, Environmental Analysis and Analytic Trigonometry. Landscape Development is a challenging field and students need to have excellent mathematical and scientific skills, as well as interest in nature, patience and motivation to learn. Landscape development establishes the connection between nature and design, incorporating technology and computers in the environment, while aiming to maintain and preserve it. Landscape Development graduates have a variety of career prospects ahead of them – urban planner, building architect, surveyor, engineer, landscape architect in real estate and private companies, or designer and builder of public projects for the government.
