Offered by the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, the full-time degree program “Master of Engineering in Geographic Information Systems” aims to deepen the knowledge, skills, and methods in Geographic Information Systems. Throughout the course, graduates become familiar with the most recent insights in the field and use scientific methods in an interdisciplinary manner. With a strong practical orientation, the master degree explores the problems from daily working life and their specific solutions by also teaching the important subjects like space and environment planning, project management, web mapping, multisensor remote sensing analysis, mathematical methods in geodesy, GIS, modelling, analysis and more topics.
