The international four-semester full-time study program “Master of Arts in Landscape Architecture” is provided by the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The design-based course of study is targeting professionals who seek to develop their professional leadership potential by providing both theoretical and practical training in an interdisciplinary and intercultural framework. By improving the interpersonal skills of the students in order to become effective team players, the course imparts the necessary tools to be able to craft problem-oriented and sustainable solutions in landscape architectural challenges. The participants obtain comprehension in the basics of landscape architecture, environment and sustainable development, computer sciences such as graphic design and GIS as well as planting design. Graduates of the master degree are accredited with AQAS certificate and will be able to work in companies in related fields, conservation agencies, land development companies, landscape architectural, planning, engineering and multidisciplinary consultancy firms at local, regional and international levels and more.
