The “Bachelor of Science in Industrial Biotechnology” is a German-taught program with a duration of 7 semesters. Throughout their education, students will dive deep into the subjects of biotechnological basics, natural science, life sciences, communication technologies, law, business administration, and technology assessment. The BSc aims to teach participants industry-specific methods and to provide a professional qualification for complex tasks in practice-oriented research, development, production or administration. The BSc prepares graduates for employment in the Chemical/Pharmaceutical industry, Food and luxury food production, Cosmetics, paper and textile industries, Plant and apparatus engineering, Production of energy materials and biomass, and more. Graduates can also opt for a consecutive Master’s degree.
