The 8-semester, 240 ECTS program “Bacherlor of Arts in Architecture” at the Berlin University of Arts offers experimental and artistic training in architectural, constructive and technological design and planning through social, political and cultural standpoints. Students develop their intrinsic and unique style by means of seminars, projects and individual supervision, as well as international practice periods. 50 students are accepted annually for this bachelor’s program. Teaching is a modern approach of dialogue between students and the staff of the different architectural departments, who offer support through students’ internalised experience of spaces, landscapes, atmospheres. The transdisciplinary project “UdK Campus-Collisions” encourages students to find their own artistic perspective. Some departments teach in a bilingual context, but German remains a compulsory enrollment prerequisite.
