Apart from organizing art exhibitions in the traditional form and sense, nowadays curating involves a much broader scope of activities, which aim to attract public attention and social response. It also moves beyond the natural settings for an arts exposition. Participants in this Curating certificate course receive 100 hours in four months of curatorial practice on the meeting point between various disciplines, and by various forms of study: lecturer, discussions, advice and visits to exhibitions in Berlin or abroad. Advisors can provide consultations in the process of developing the individual or group project work. The course is meant for those who practice curating as an occupation or in a non-artistic professional field, as well as at decision-makers in public institutions and companies.
