The four-semester “Master of Education in Music: Elementary Schools” at Berlin University of Arts prepares students for a teaching position in Music at German Elementary schools. The entry requirements for the degree are: completed Bachelor studies at UdK Berlin, or at least six semesters equivalent studies at another university, good level of German, and music talent, for which proof must be shown in a documentary form, as well as through an entrance exam. Studies are individualized to an utmost degree, through a modular curriculum and opportunities for international exchange, as well as working together with renowned music professionals and performers in the modern equipped facilities, all with the aim of improving one’s skills both in music and didactics.
