Excellent Master graduates (Orchestral musician or soloist) at UdK Berlin, or graduates in a comparable degree at another university or college of music, can further amplify their mastery through this four-semester Concert exam/Konzertexamen degree in Orchestral Instruments at the Faculty of Music. It delivers 120 ECTS taught in German. The applicants’ four pieces in different style, chosen to perform as an entrance examination, also adds to the impression of their artistic merits. Being highly elective, the program is reserved for the exceptionally talented artists. The curriculum comprises three modules: Instrumental Major, Concert Examination, and Minor Subjects (Correpetition, Chamber Music and Concert Moderation), elaborated through projects and individual lessons. Guidance and specialist advice by university professors are an inseparable part of this and all other majors taught at the faculty.
