During the four German-language taught semesters of the program “Master of Music in Organ/Organ Improvisation”, students obtain 120 credit points for the degree of Master of music at the Berlin University of Arts. It succeeds the undergraduate program, and is focused on gaining mastery and advanced professional grasp of the artistic core subject, as well as master concert and practical minors. The curriculum is delivered through individual or group instruction in the form of modules, whose successful completion, and passing of the Master’s examination is evidence of the required professional achievement. The degree enables students to perform idependently and responsibly in the musical field as an organist or organ improvisor. At the entrance exam, applicants should prove good professional management of the instrument in different styles and piece forms.
