The program “Bachelor of Music in Piano” is accredited as a 240-ECTS, 8-semester course. Aspiring students should be ready to present proof of knowledge of German, and follow the specific application procedure within its set deadlines. The study program prepares students for developing their professional career in Solo, Chamber Music, and Lied Accompaniment by teaching artistic technique skills, style and interpretation. In justifiable circumstances, students are entitled to two semesters leave. The program is structured into modules, each concluding in an examination to demonstrate the achievement in the corresponding field. Fundamental modules in Instrumental Major, Repertoire and Artistic Maturity, Musicology and Music Theory are followed by Advanced and General Study modules.
