Description
The “Bachelor of Arts in Art Education” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences combines artistic and creative activity with scientific analysis and contemplation. Over the course of 6 full-time semesters, the degree is designed to develop individuals who can work in a variety of ways in terms of artistic and creative activity, who can master diverse forms of expression, classify them in terms of cultural history, and skillfully transmit them. A high school diploma or an equivalent degree (Abitur), a teaching credential from a teacher training institution, or a vocational baccalaureate with an examination are normally required for entry to the entrance test. It is recommended that students have completed at least one year of qualified artistic and creative training.
