The “Bachelor of Arts in Literary Writing” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. Students can use the degree to create and implement self-contained literary initiatives as well as disseminate them to the general audience. They acquire an aesthetic perspective and are able to place their work in the right fields or contrast it by engaging with other people's works and viewpoints. The range of courses is divided into four module groups: Individual writing projects, Various forms of text, Theory and contextualization and Transdisciplinarity and projects. The course demands independent study. Applicants must have previously authored pieces that are both artistically and literarily compelling.
