The “Bachelor of Arts in Music and Movement” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. Six thematic and methodological module groups make up the course. Students focus on music, dance, and pedagogy while also attempting to communicate what they have learned in these classes. Over the course of the course, the criteria within a module group are steadily increased (levels: basic, intermediate, advanced). The rhythmic traditions of France and Germany are combined in the curriculum. Candidates must complete a mandatory aptitude evaluation after presenting a baccalaureate or comparable qualification to be considered for admission to the program.
