The “Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy – Music S II” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences trains students to teach at the secondary school level and work in the field of music education. Over the course of 4 plus 2 full-time semesters, the main goal of the program is to prepare responsible music teachers. High creative proficiency, the capacity to reflect, and a strong command of the instrument, the voice, are all examples of this. As a result, the emphasis is on a comprehensive, aesthetically, culturally, scientifically, and historically broad music education. Admission requirements include a relevant bachelor’s degree and the completion of an individual assessment procedure.
