The “Master of Arts in Music Performance – Classical” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences provides individualized instruction in basic courses (instrument, voice, conducting wind music) as well as extra support in chamber music, contemporary music, and historically informed performance technique from globally renowned speakers. Over the course of 4 full-time semesters, the curriculum focuses on offering one-on-one assistance to students as they progress toward creative maturity. They will be able to develop a diverse, demanding repertoire and contextualize numerous works. They learn to comprehend, perpetuate, and transcend traditions as a result of this process. Admission requirements include a relevant bachelor’s degree and the completion of an individual assessment procedure.
