The “Master of Science in Nursing” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is with a length from 3 to 6 semesters, depending on the form of study. The primary goal of the course is to transform students into nursing specialists who can assess difficult issues, devise innovative solutions, and work on concepts and/or research topics. Students receive a basic scientific orientation and an extremely high level of practical orientation throughout the studies. The program is designed for nursing bachelor's degree holders. Qualified nursing practitioners who have completed further training comparable to a bachelor's degree (e.g., a Master of Advanced Studies in Nursing) are also eligible to earn the degree.
