The “Master of Science in Social Work” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 3-4 full-time or 6-9 part-time semesters. Through the analysis and evaluation of science-based practice in the fields of social work, students gain in-depth practical experience and have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge. The program extends students’ expertise in the areas of social policy, social welfare organizations, theories and methods of social work, and research. Graduates are able to work at the interfaces of social work to economics, politics and law as well as in interdisciplinary teams.
