The “Bachelor of Arts in Sound Arts” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. The program's main goals are to provide a solid foundation in musical theory and practice, as well as musical-artistic and technical knowledge in the fields of electronic music, sound art, music and image, media art, recording and sound reinforcement, and to support students' musical and artistic growth. The focus is on working on students’ own artistic projects. Graduates who do not want to pursue a master's degree might use their bachelor's degree to a career in music journalism, music management, or the music trade.
