The “Bachelor of Arts in Theater/Acting” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. The course's main goal is to teach craftsmanship in the context of a constantly changing theater landscape, allowing students to develop and implement their own artistic ideas and projects through practical acting work, personal artistic language development, and the development and implementation of one's own artistic ideas. The course supports the theoretical investigation of theater and gives lots of flexibility for independent project work, in addition to working in teaching modules such as performance, body, and voice. A strong performing skill, a high degree of independence, physical, vocal, linguistic, and acting expression capacity, as well as mental and physical toughness, are all required for admission.
