The “Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication” program at Bern University of Applied Sciences is concerned with the creation, execution, and dissemination of information, as well as the use of various creative forms of expression and tactics. Over the course of 6 full-time semesters, the degree primarily aims to develop a broad repertoire of creative methods, technical skills and visual languages. The practical courses are the center of the program. These project- and process-based learning scenarios are linked to a future professional reality that is always being challenged and enlarged. There are a limited number of study spots available (Numerus Clausus). An assessment is used to determine the study's appropriateness. Design and creative abilities, as well as a high level of independence and initiative, are required for admission.
