The degree program "Master of Engineering in Applied Physics – Medical Engineering" at Beuth University of Applied Sciences Berlin prepares students for scientific activities in professional fields of physical engineering and medical physics. Students here should acquire the ability to overview the interrelationships of their subject and to apply scientific methods and findings. After four semesters, students are able to work independently in a scientific, application-oriented and interdisciplinary manner. In the third semester, students are introduced to independent work through project work on topics related to medical physics. Career prospects include working in development departments of medical technology companies as well as in medical technology departments of hospitals.
