Description
The “Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering” degree at Beuth University of Applied Sciences aims to prepare students for a career in the field. Over the course of 7 semesters, students are taught Mathematics, Technical Mechanics, Metal Science and Plastics Technology, Construction and Machine Elements, Manufacturing Technology, Computer Science in Mechanical Engineering, and other subjects in lectures taking place in small groups, and in combination with exercises. Students can therefore gain important practical skills and work on their own strengths and interests through the specialization in one of four majors: Renewable Energy, Construction Technology, Production Engineering, or Additive Manufacturing. Admissions for the program are restricted by NC and students are required to present a university entrance qualification. Graduates can benefit from a broad spectrum of professional opportunities - in general mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, aerospace, the manufacture of capital goods, planning, operation and monitoring of machines and systems and more.
